Return & Refund Policy

At Adjeley Jewelry, we want you to love your handcrafted jewelry. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please review our return and refund policy below.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 calendar days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund or exchange. After 30 days, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

Important: The 30-day period begins on the date you placed your order (purchase date), not the delivery date.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and unworn: The item must be in the same condition as when you received it
  • Original condition: No signs of wear, damage, or alteration
  • Original packaging: Item must be returned in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase: You must provide your order number or receipt

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable goods
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on sale or with a discount code are final sale and cannot be returned

How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Contact Us
Email us at info@shopadjeley.com or adjeleyghana@gmail.com within 30 days of your purchase date. Include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos of the item (if applicable)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Our team will review your request and provide return authorization and instructions within 2-3 business days.

Step 3: Ship Your Return
Carefully package your item in its original packaging and ship it to:

Important: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return reaches us safely. Adjeley Jewelry is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Return Shipping Costs

Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for paying all return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error with your order.

Non-Refundable Shipping: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on your order, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Domestic Returns (Ghana): Estimated return shipping cost is GHS 20-50 depending on location and carrier.
International Returns: Costs vary by country and carrier. We recommend using a trackable service such as DHL, FedEx, or your local postal service with tracking.

Inspection & Refund Processing

Step 1: Inspection (2-3 Business Days)
Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return eligibility requirements (unused, original condition, original packaging).

Step 2: Approval or Rejection
We will notify you by email whether your return has been approved or rejected.

Step 3: Refund Processing (5-7 Business Days)
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed and automatically credited to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Refund Amount: Your refund will include the item price minus the original shipping cost (if applicable). Return shipping costs are not refunded.

Note: Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged upon arrival. We do not offer exchanges for size, color, or style preferences.

Defective or Damaged Items:
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately at adjeleyghana@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the defective or damaged item
  • Description of the issue

We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you, including return shipping.

Wrong Item or Missing Items

If you received the wrong item or your order is missing items, please contact us at info@shopadjeley.com within 7 days of delivery. We will resolve the issue promptly by sending the correct item or missing items at no additional cost.

Cancellations

Before Shipment: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by contacting us at info@shopadjeley.com. If your order has not yet been processed or shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

After Shipment: Once your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may return the item following our standard return policy once you receive it.

Restocking Fees

Adjeley Jewelry does not charge restocking fees for eligible returns.

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items showing obvious signs of wear or use
  • Items not in their original condition or missing original packaging
  • Items returned more than 30 days after purchase
