Our handcrafted bangles are designed to be both beautiful and comfortable. Each Adjeley bangle is made from natural materials like calabash, coconut shell, wood, and gold-plated brass. Finding the right fit ensures you'll enjoy wearing your piece for years to come. Use this guide to determine your ideal bangle size.
Our Bangle Sizes
Most of our bangles are available in three sizes based on inner diameter:
- Small: 6 cm inner diameter
- Medium: 6.5 - 7 cm inner diameter
- Large: 7.5 - 8 cm inner diameter
How to Measure for Your Bangle Size
Method 1: Measure Your Hand Width
- Bring your thumb and pinky finger together (as if you're putting on a bangle)
- Measure across the widest part of your hand from knuckle to knuckle
- Use the measurement chart below to find your recommended size
Method 2: Measure an Existing Bangle
- Take a bangle that fits you comfortably
- Measure the inside diameter (the distance straight across the inner opening)
- Match your measurement to our size chart below
Size Recommendations

Which Size Should You Choose?
Choose SMALL if:
- You have petite or small hands
- You typically wear ring sizes 4-6
- You prefer a snug, secure fit that won't slide around
- Your hand width measures 7-7.5 cm when compressed
Choose MEDIUM if:
- You have average-sized hands (this is our most popular size)
- You typically wear ring sizes 6-8
- You want a comfortable fit with slight movement on your wrist
- Your hand width measures 7.5-8.5 cm when compressed
- You're between sizes and prefer a more comfortable fit
Choose LARGE if:
- You have larger hands
- You typically wear ring sizes 8 and above
- You prefer a looser, more relaxed fit
- Your hand width measures 8.5-9.5 cm when compressed
- You plan to stack multiple bangles together
Fit Tips
The Perfect Fit: A properly fitted bangle should slide over your hand with a little effort but not be too tight. Once on your wrist, it should move slightly but won't fall off when your hand is relaxed and pointing down.
Between Sizes? If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort, especially if you have wider knuckles or plan to wear your bangle for extended periods.
Stacking Bangles: If you plan to wear multiple bangles together, consider sizing up slightly for comfort. Large size works beautifully for stacking 2-3 bangles.
Natural Materials Note: Our bangles crafted from calabash and coconut shell are organic materials with slight natural variations. These unique characteristics make each piece one-of-a-kind and add to their artisan charm.
Caring for Your Bangles
Because our bangles are made from natural, porous materials, they require gentle care:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water
- Remove before bathing, swimming, or exercising
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Treat them with the same care you would treat your skin
- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth
- Apply natural oils occasionally to maintain the luster of organic materials
