A Bridal Affair - Duaba Serwa X Adjeley

  Duaba Serwa is a Ghanaian fashion brand that is renowned for its innovation, detailing, textures and styles in the beautiful clothes they make for the modern woman. I have been a "stan" of the brand for many years and I have been religiously following them on their social media platforms.

I was very honored when Nelly - the creative director contacted me one day about creating unique pieces for their upcoming bridal collection. In our discussion, she gave me an idea of what she wanted us to do for her while giving us the a blank page to do whatever we wanted. I know it may sound very off but trust me it made so much sense to us. With this, we started to work on pieces that reflected the looks they were going for with their bridal collection.

Their maiden bridal collection speak to "The Quintessential Bride" . A bride who was looking for something of class, beauty, intimacy, modernity and craftmanship. Personally, I love the ease the pieces give the bride as well as the many times she can wear it after the wedding.

It was such an honor making pieces for their maiden bridal collection. Duaba Serwa has always been one of the pioneers in our Ghanaian fashion space with their innovations, construction and attention to details.
